A day in the life of an event operations team

The audience sees three hours of show. The operations team lives with it for almost twenty.
Early morning: venue handover
The technical crew arrives very early to take over the venue, build the stage frame, hang lights and run signal cables to the approved drawings.

Afternoon: full rehearsal
The MC, artists and speakers run through the script. Every sound, lighting and video cue is checked again with the show director.
Evening: the show and load-out
During the show, radios are the main line between departments. As soon as guests leave, load-out begins so the venue is handed back on time.
